I had a customer call asking for spark plug recommendations for his Z. I asked him for the specifications, to which he replied it was NA with aftermarket mufflers and two tornado intake accelerators. I asked him if he noticed a difference and he replied that the difference was incredible - claimed (seriously) an extra 100 miles on a tank of gas. I proceeded to tell him how the laws of physics and the design of throttle bodies and the intake plenum prevent that from being possible, and told him that his car is basically stock, so he needs stock plugs. He didn't buy plugs from me that day... lost the sale. :(
